The latest addition to my “Spiritual Awakenings” series is this one of a sunrise over the Chesapeake Bay. I took the reference photo on a morning last year and have been waiting to complete it as a painting.
It’s called,”His Mercies Are New Every Morning” (Lamentations 3:23-24)
I hope this helps you remember and experience the beauty of the early morning light. No matter what’s going on in our world, we can always point to the goodness He unveils as a reminder of His promises to us.
Of course, if you’re like me, it seems impossible to capture the exact beauty of those experiences, but as artists, we do try!
