"In Marva's Garden"

Painting of a young boy leaning in to smell a huge yellow dahlia in a lush garden

A beautiful spring day captured in Marva's garden. Marva was a well-known gardener in our small town, and her garden was a local treasure. This painting features my son, around 5 or 6 years old at the time, captivated by the huge dahlias in full bloom. I'll never forget the moment he asked permission to give one a sniff, only to be disappointed that it didn't have a fragrance! Such an innocent and precious moment. (Original, not for sale)
