The younger, stronger hand, gently supporting an older, fragile one, tells the story. I aimed to express not just the act of care—but the emotion, dignity, and connection behind it.
Many people know, it was my honor to serve as a bedside nurse for several decades and also to guide new nurses in hospital and the classroom. This painting is meant as a personal tribute —— to those who give tirelessly—lifting others with grace, patience, and compassion of all caregivers, especially nurses.
